Our 100th Testor's ScaleWorkshop covers "Project Airfix", conducted during the IPMS Auckland Model-X Show on 1 and 2 June this year, where beginner modellers from ages 7-18 are given kits and they build them at the show. Thanks to IPMS Auckland and Peter Harrison for this video.

In yesterday's review of Hamilton Hobbies' 1/32 scale RAAF Mustang P-51D & CA-18 decals I suggested that the smaller supplementary decal sheet was ALPS printed. It is actually laser printed. I have changed the text to reflect this. The main sheet, as mentioned in the review, is screen printed (and beautifully too).
Our 99th Testor's ScaleWorkshop video is a brief walk around the NSW Scale Model Expo 2013, held early in May at Koonawarra, south of Wollongong (Australia). Simply click the "play" button on the screen below to view the 2 minute 20 second YouTube video.
ScaleWorkshop videos have had more than 3 million views now too!

Although this book is grounded in the same period as Oliver Publishing’s previous, out of print title Panzers In The Bocage (which now sells for over US$350 on Amazon!), it is not a re-print and contains new text, photographs and illustrations. Copies of this book and other Firefly Collection titles may be ordered direct from ADH Publishing at www.adhbooks.com

For Forum users still having trouble, there is now a new option for recovering passwords. If you still can't log in or have been locked out, you can try logging in again now. It will look for the old password and require you to create a new one. This temporary access to the old passwords will remain available for a few weeks.

Forum Password Update: If You're Still Having Problems...
Now that the dust has settled somewhat and there is a bit of breathing space, it seems that many visitors have successfully changed their password and are again able to access the Forums. If you have not changed your password yet, you can do so by following this link.
However, there will be some who might still be having difficulties.
In particular, if you originally registered with an email address that you no longer use, there will be no way for you to reset your password. If this is the case, or if you are having any other problem that prevents you from changing your password, you can set up a new user name and then apply for membership on HyperScale's Forums. The instructions on how to register for a new Network 54 login and then sign up for the Forums are listed at the bottom of each of the Forum pages.
I need to manually approve the Forum signups, so there may be a slight delay, but I will be checking several times a day for the next few days. I do apologise again for this situation.

Please go to http://www.network54.com/Help/?topic=Accounts:Lost%20Password to get your new password.
Mark Davies writes that this model "...is the best all-resin kit that I have encountered". Big statement! Check out Mark's review of the Small Stuff 1/72 scale Sukhoi I-14 bis kit to find out why. 30 images of the kit parts, decals, box top and photos of the built-up model are included.
On Missing-Lynx, Andrew Judson reviews Meng Model's new 1/35 scale Pick Up w/ZU-23-2 (it is really a Toyota Land Cruiser, but don't tell anybody!). 14 images of the kit's parts, photo-etched fret, decals and box top are included.
For Australian-based modellers around Sydney and Wollongong, the NSW Scale Model Show and Competition will be held this weekend, 4 and 5 May, at the Koonawarra Community Centre, Fowlers Road, ten minutes south of Wollongong. More details may be found on IPMA's website.
